Re: hypo and lr
So Giz has been in his qt now for a week hes spent 2 days at 1.09 salinity and he still has a lot of spots on him, but is looking happier already .
How long after the ich dispersers to i keep him in the qt ?. i have read 4 weeks in some posts and 8 weeks in others.
My display tank in now completely empty of fish how long does that have to be fish free for and should i be doing anyhting in my display tank ie cleaning the substrate etc ?.

14 days after last spots disappear. Your fish free display tank will be clear by now I believe, give the substrate a good clean and use this time to do any glass cleaning etc you wish to do

Re: hypo and lr
2 weeks in hypo & then you can start raising the SG back up. the tank he came from must remain fallow for 8 weeks.

Re: hypo and lr
As i thought, theres so much to read about this subject. I will make a post soon about giz's treatment, there's a lot of information that is conflicting out there, i hope this will help other people dealing with crypt.
