That's a myth... the golden ones are golden from birth as well as the standard colored ones are always standard colored. To be honeat he seems happy enough in there hed just be happier in my tank lol
I think in fairness to the shop thye probably took the porcupine in and they just dont have the space to house them seperatly. Its a very tiny shop. Still not really an excuse but need must i guess lol not an ideal situation .

so i went to check up on gizmo today, hes gotten big lol. Gave him some food which he took no problems at all and best of all his teeth have started to ware down all be it a bit

I have been checking my water parameters and all is fine has been for about a week.Im gonna give it a week or two to make sure its stablise.
should be getting him home in 1 or 2 weeks
