So I got thinking we all talk about Fahaka's and the new home. Meaning we always talk about the tank they live in.
Never about the place they like to hang out the most/sleep.
Looking for ideas:
I know some people use mangrove root from the local pet store.
Some take a piece of slate and build a home.
I am looking for something new to change up.
Dexter has been swimming a little more but always goes back to the same spot and puts his head under a piece of rock scape.
So throw out any ideas / pictures if you got them.
He loves to dive under the sand but I feel like he wants to be in a cave or something secure.
Thanks
Tripp

You can find these at Petsmart:

Re: Fahaka House
He is a little small still from that pic, as he gets bigger he will use the large piece of fake wood on near end of tank. Think about it this way, now that opening on the fake wood is a gaping wide open hole, once he grows it will be a nice fit. Mine at just under 12" hides under that same piece of fake wood when he chooses to dissappear from sight, even tosses a little sand on his head like he's buried.
sorry not the best pic but most of his tank in the shot...

Re: Fahaka House
Mine refused all caves, he just chilled in his corner behind his plant
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
