Sorry i left this out in my previous reply.

I was actually thinking of substrate.
Why no substrate is because when they were transfered from my pond to my house tank i wanted to make sure there aren't any other foreign contaminant. If you know what i mean.

I can look at their belly through their own reflection easily. (of any change in colour or disease)

Siphon out waste and look at the coloration easily too.

Oh and besides after a few months or so, they will be individually transfered to a bigger enclosure.

Reading this gave me a headache. All I can think of is that it was something illegal. I almost saw his eyes get big and jaw hit the floor when he found out the price for a mbu in NA. Just my opinion and thoughts. Also, I am on my phone, so I can't see the pics...how do we know they are mbu fry and not a pic of several dps that have been photoshopped to look like mbu fry? Idk, just my two cents

36g: Luau the F8, Zebra nerites x8, sometimes a herd of ghost shrimp for food
60g: Perches the starry blenny, 1 watchman goby Snaps the l.c. hermit, 2 emerald crabs, 1 red crab, 2 turbos, 7 asteas, 2 nerites, 2 clown gobies and 2 firefish gobies (upgrading to a 90 gallon reef)
