As long as you are soaking their food in it, it should work for any fish.

it's not in liquid form, they're tablets. Directions say to dose the tank 1 tab per 10 gallons and repeat in 48hrs with a 25% wc.
Do i soak his food everyday for 4 days?

FW fish do not drink water, so it would be a waste to treat the water. I'd break it into 1/4 & soak all their food for the next 3-5 feedings.

They have no need to drink water as they absorb water through their skin and gills and thus need to dump excess water constantly to preserve their blood & tissue from going hypotonic and crashing their required tissue/water balances. SW fish drink constant but have specialized kidney functions to preserve blood/tissue osmolarity at the required levels - mechanisms which primary FW fish lack. Sharks, rays, and such have different mechanisms for achieving the same ends.
