Hello, I am new at the forum and new at the world of keeping puffers at home.
My wife has recently gave me as a present a pair o tetraodon biocellatus, and, after making some research for learning how to take care of them, there is steel one important doubt I have:
- Is it dangerous to manipulate this fish?
I mean, I will not do it on purpose, but I would like to know if only eating then is dangerous or the poison is also in the skin an could be dangerous to touch it.
Thanks!

No, it is not dangerous to you to touch these fish but please do not handle them with your hands, as it could be dangerous to them. Always capture them in a cup, not letting them inhale any air, if you ever have to move them. Do you have a cycled tank for them?

You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

thank you very much for the answer.
Yes, I have a 120 liter tank cicled for them. I guess the will not be a problem there. I have already read that link. I am trying to find as much information as I can to give them the best care I can. It is just that I had not found a clear answer to the poisonous thing till now.
