Tank specs: 55 gallon, sand substrate, 1 GSP (1.75in), currently at 1.005 but raising to 1.010 where it will stay for a year or so.
As the title states, could I house a Dragon Goby with my GSP? The GSP is currently the only fish in there.
Can I put a Dragon Goby with a GSP?

No, the gsp would pick on it and needs to go full marine while the dragon goby needs brackish water

I know the GSP needs to go full-marine, but I'm not doing that for 2 years. This would be for the time being (also there are reports on this forum of Dragon Gobies being fine in full marine).
I've seen stories of DG and GSP working out just fine on other forums, which is what prompted me to ask the question. I've seen lots of people saying it won't work, but when I read stories of people actually doing it, it has worked. Not set on doing it, just curious and considering it.

Absolutely not. The GSP will rip a sedentary's fish's fins to shreds.

Not worth the risk in my opinion.
Depending on tank size you could try a group of scats or Mono's as tank mates as both species will also do fine in a marine tank.

Re: Can I put a Dragon Goby with a GSP?
I had one for a very short period. I gave mine some very good cover to bury itself at the front of the tank. Had a hard time keeping it fed as the gsp would steal its food. As others have stated sedentary and slow fish are not ideal with gsps.
