Tetraodon Nigroviridis or Tetraodon Schoutedeni?

Post by Gandolph »

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum I'm from Argentina, living in Mexico andmy english is really bad.

I'm here trying to learn as much as I can from puffers. My parents gave me an acuarium as a surprise gift, I'm feeling really bad because the acuarium was not cicled, it is brand new. It comes with a puffer, the seller said it was a Tetraodon Nigroviridis, but it is now on fresh water, I'm really scared because if it is a Nigroviridis he needs Brackish water.

Also I'm concerned because I dont know how to feed him, i have some snails, the vendor said the was Marisa Cornuarietis but i think they are Gyraulus Acronicus, but what else can I feed him? Its ok to buy frozen shrimps? I'm trying to breed snails but I dont know if I can do it well.

Ok, so sorry for my bad english i hope you can understand me. Thanks for advance. Here are some pics from the puffer and the snail.

You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Unfortunately He/She died this morning :( I'm feeling really really sad. Maybe in another time I'll give me a chance to try again but this time with everything ready
