Found a Ceylon in a batch of Figure 8's

Post by sgtmyers88 »

So I randomly went to Petco to get some fungal medicine for one of my Goldfish and saw to my surprise they got some Figure 8 puffers in which they never carry. Took a closer look at one and its a tiny Ceylon/Topaz Puffer! I just bought it. I got a 10 gallon saltwater tank cycled at home that I use as a QT tank and drip acclimated him to it.

Placed in the tank he is very active but tiny! Barely an inch long. He looks bigger due to the tank being a 10 gallon.

Only way to get decent shots was to feed him as he would hide all the time behind something when the light was on.
