feedin gsp live wild mussels

Can i feed my gsp fresh live wild caught mussels.I live next to the north atlantic ocean and can pick them right off the rocks.has anyone tried this before ?

You can, but NOT fresh. I would freeze them for 48hrs prior to feeding, as they could (and are likely) to have some sort of parasite.
No human being, however great, or powerful, was ever so free as a fish.
