Full salt GSP

Working on getting my 2 new puffers over to saltwater and was wanting to know what kinda of snails are ppl feeding their GSP in saltwater.

For daytime feedings using forceps, I use the same FW home-reared snail as I feed to other puffers: Ramshorn or common pond snails. They never make it to the bottom of the tank before being grabbed by the puffers.

Thanks I thoughts so but wasn't sure this whole puffer thing is new to me trying to get all the info I can before they go full salt.

Snails don't last very long at all around a GSP. In most cases they don't even hit the bottom of the tank. Pond snails should be easy to find and will do nicely.
