I disagree with the 60 L basin statement, I would recommend a 283 US liters (75 gallons) for a breeding pair. I would try altering the salinity. It could always be possible that breeding, taking care of the eggs, and the fry all require different SG'S. Do some testing and see what works. Good luck, everyone.

I know the article translated above as well as other claims of breeding T. nigroviridis in the 80s, however, their credibility has never been shown by any pictures. I believe (Martin Hi. might know better) members of the German puffer forum tried to contact the author to no avail. So I remain very sceptical. I think we also discussed it here about 4 years ago.
