Picked up an orange abei puffer from a fish store about an hour south of me. He's only about an inch long but shows nice orange circles along with those awesome abei eyes. To my surprise he was only $18.99! And yes, I did a very careful inspection to ensure he was actually an orange abei.
He's eating well and I'm in the process of moving him out of his temp 10G home and into a 20G long.
Anyone else have an orange abei?? To my knowledge they're kind of rare.

Am I the only one with an Orange Abei?
Re: New puffer.....
I added him to my gallery.....
A quick tutorial on how to move it to an actual post would be great. Scoured the site but directions are lacking.

Did you look in the photography forum? It's there.

Orange Abei....1.5"
Re: New puffer.....
He's pretty cool....very aggressive, much more so than my GSP. Today he started charging the tank wall with his beak every time I would move my hand in front of him. Vey food oriented. There isn't much movement from him once he gets a full belly of earthworm or grub, but afterwards and once he's hungry again he's actually pretty active.
I bought a 40G breeder for him/her.

What a great-looking fish! And the attitude is amazing. Guess he never gets bored when he always has his reflection to attack.
