Fat Indian dwarf puffer( I think)
Fat Indian dwarf puffer( I think)
So I have 2 of what I'm about 90% sure are Indian dwarfs in my 10 gallon, they're all that's in there and they're pretty happy dudes. But one is super fat, the other isn't too skinny, his Tummy gets plenty round at dinner time and by dinner the next night it's flat, but his room mate is just so so fat! How can I get the healthy one to maintain his weight while making the other lose his big belly? TIA

You might have a male and a female. Females are rounder than males, sometimes dramatically so. The DP in my avatar is a female after eating a ton of live blackworms, who released a bunch of eggs the very next day.
Do you know what sexes you have? This forum has a great article on sexing dwarf puffers here:

I have separated dps during feeding. I used a jug to house the slow feeding puffer. You have to suck them in at first by lowering the jug but it soon becomes part of the routine. Does the belly become slightly sunken within 24 hrs?
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
