Introduction of new puffers-advice please

Post by gem123 »

Hello everyone, I'm looking for some advice. I have a 3 year old dwarf puffer who currently lives alone. She originally had other dwarf tank mates but over time they died off, some of which jumped out....so i wasn't sure if the big puffer was bullying them. I have just changed her tank from 30L to 60L and the 60L tank has a completely enclosed lid. The big question/ advice needed is, if i get new dwarf puffers will she just spend her time bullying and harassing them or have other people successfully introduced new puffers to an existing older puffer? If I leave her to be a lone puffer do you think puffer will mind? Is there a different species that would live peacefully together?

Many thanks for your help.

She won't mind living alone, will likely prefer it. Adding new puffers will be a massive risk
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
