Re: Possible New Tetraodon Miurus
Looking good! Is he more of a brown or brick color? I find they are excellent at camouflage. I added a bit of red gravel to black sand (25%/75%) to keep my fellow nice & red.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Soon I will introduce a red stone....and then I will change the sand... but now I don´t want to make too many changes.....he came so thin....

Pufferpunk, I love that photo of your gorgeous red Conger/miurius. Every time I see the photo it makes me happy.

Sorry that he's gone. He was a gorgeous fish.
Do you still have a different red miurius now or are you having to do without?

Re: Possible New Tetraodon Miurus
My 1st one only lasted 2 weeks. When I did a necropsy, it had a hard, brown liver. Prob due to being fed feeders it's whole life in captivity. :/
My 2nd fellow lasted about 5 years. Now I have a tan one.
