Please help sex some DPs?

Post by antelope »

Would someone be willing to confirm or correct my belief that the fish in the plastic bottle in female and the curled up tail one is male? One of my other DP's is picking on one of them and I need to move her. I already read the Pufferpedia page but am unsure..

You may be correct. Wrinkles behind the eyes are definitely male. The one in the bottle may be too young to sex. Often, even 2 females will fight.

I thought I'd read that they were mature after about 5 months? I've had her since early February. I'm terrible at spotting the wrinkles, so I've been going by any other characteristics I can find. Thanks so much!
