Hi all,
I am in the process of setting up a new dp tank.
Have just planted it and it is on cycling.
I am thinking of about 10-15 dp and maybe a few shrimp. Is this too many?
I have kept dp before in a smaller tank but with no shrimp.
Big thanks for any advice and btw Great forum

It looks like a tall tank? Territories must be available for them to live safely together. Also you don't want many males or preferably none. 15 will be pushing your luck even if they are all females, maybe stick with 6-10 as it will still burst at the seams with personality. Shrimp will almost certainly get ripped apart by a pack of these little feisty blimps
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly
