12 gallons...anything other than a dwarf?
12 gallons...anything other than a dwarf?
Not that I have anything against them...just wondering if there was any other puffer that would do well in a planted well scaped 11ish gallon tank? It's 19"x11.5"x12". If there's nothing else...I'll probably go with a couple females. I have this tank that's going to open up soon. Currently it's housing some Blue Diamond neo shrimp but I'm moving them to a smaller tank at my office. It'll be awhile before I'd get the puffer(s)...even though the tank is established, I'm not sure it's cycled to the point of being able to handle a couple messy fish so I'll spend some time bolstering the bacteria population and adding some additional plants.

Maybe an irrubesco or a puffer of similar size

I don't do anything but DPs in small tanks.

Check into the Carinotetraodon species: ug.php/v/PufferPedia/Freshwater/?g2_GAL ... fc4f50a9ad
