A lot of times I just pull out the old point and shoot digital camera. It does just OK for pictures... but when I want a good shot I use my Sony a350 DSLR. I need to splurge on of these days and get a better flash for it that I can take off the camera and flash the light from above and maybe also a nice macro lens. But all high dollar stuff for Sony.

Even in the digital age, high-end photo equipment is painfully pricey. My wife has a closet full of photo gear, but all her best stuff is out of date these days. She has not invested in equal quality digital gear. If our son reproduces, I suspect that will change.

I won the camera itself in a Sony sponsored contest but the lens they gave was lame. At the time my Nikon 35nmm equipment was still worth a few bucks so I traded it in at my local camera shop and bought a better lens. It was one of the first gen DSLR so it used the huge Compact flash cards and it shoots no video but it does take excellent pictures.

Herself gets some decent shots, but not pro quality. She would have to upgrade for that.

Yep he openly puffs up. A couple times he looked like a balloon ready to pop and then he does this burp like thing and deflates.
