Will 1 inch DP try to eat fully grown Ramshore Snails?

Post by Arny »

Hey Guys

I have an Adult DP in a 5g tank on his own. I want to get some full size ramshore snails to put in his tank so that when they have babies the DP can eat them. Will he eat the fully grown snails?

Thanks :)

Breed them elsewhere. The puffer will bite at the antenna & foot.

+1 to Pufferpunk's comments above. It almost never works to try to rear prey in the same tank as the predator, and a 5 gallon tank is too small to have any chance.
