Just tried some mini krill (actually plankton) that I soaked over night, she tried it but didn't eat the whole thing.

Got some blood worms, and she ate them all! Also she ate like 6 snails too. The rest of the bloodworms went to my ctenopoma, rams, and plecos. Now I just have to wait for my lfs to get more dps!

Re: Got my DPs!!
Checked on her to see how her poop was after eating, it was mostly brown but there was also one white mucusy section of it too which I am worried about. Also she was surfing the glass again, or maybe she was excited to see me..

Does the stomach appear to be sunken in at all? Especially after her starvation day? That is a good way to see if she has ip or not.

Re: Got my DPs!!
That is great to hear, sounds like she may be the rare exception to most puffers having ip. I would still monitor them for a week

Ottos can also be very difficult to keep alive.
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Re: Got my DPs!!
I heard a lot tend to die within the first 2 weeks of arriving in an aquarium. I personally never had any die that quickly until today, though I had already expected this one to pass away, he didn't look healthy from the get go, his head looked damaged.bertie 83 wrote:Ottos can also be very difficult to keep alive.
