Master of Puffers is back

Post by Master of Puffers »

Hello again.

Life has been very busy for pufferghoti and I for the past few months. Spawn F1 has stared college so we were busy sorting that out and now she is home for the summer and she's moving into her first apartment in the next few weeks.

Fish wise...bad, bad, bad.. We intermittently lost power in the basement over several days which stressed some of my fish and my corals causing the loss of several fish and all of my coral frags. SO I stepped back for a couple of months in order to get everything in order first.

I then changed my laptop and lost my passwords and couldn't remember them but I finally worked out which e-mail I was using here so I could log back in..I'm pleased to see everyone again..

Welcome back! I Hate losing power! After the 3rd time, we bought a generator.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Yeah..we have 3 generators..one for tanks only, one for the necessities of life phone chargers and routers, kettle and stove, and a spare generator ...Life in Quebec winters..

Sadly it was a breaker/fuse problem in either the house wiring or the fuse block...which was why I missed the reasons for the outages..It wasn't external nor was it consistent..It was random and only affected the part of the basement that wasn't near pufferghoti's home office so was invisible for most hours of the day..and night..
