Greetings from Boston

Post by Teru »

Hi all!

Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been playing in aquaria for the last 20 years or so, but I've now caught the puffer bug. This is in addition to my severe case of MTS. I'm currently running 10 planted tanks totaling about 280 gallons. Everything from goldfish ( orandas and ryukins) to dwarf shrimp. But. .. It's all freshwater!

Of course falling in love with a cute little F8 and trying to work out the details for a brackish fish have got me a bit confused. Hoping to learn a lot from all of you here, so I look forward to talking to everyone!

Welcome! I suffer from mts as well! It's going to get worse now that you have discovered Puffers!

F8s are light brackish so it's not hard to do or maintain.

If you can keep reasonably stable KH with the specific gravity at 1.003-1.005, The F-8(s) will be easy. But they are addictive themselves...
