Hello all.

My name is James im 27 years of age living in Dania Beach Florida

Well I have a 47 gallon fish tank.

a pair of cinamon clowns.
1x engineer golby
1x three stripe damsle
and now just added a baby baby spinny box puffer.

inverts
10x hermit crabs
5x snails

tank has 55 pounds of dry rock from marco located in "key west"

60 pounds of fiji sand.

I just purshased a 200 gallon tank and will have it set up within a year just tanking my time.
" and I'm gonna keep my baby spinny box puffer in my 47 gallon for about a year then he will be placed into my 200 gallon tank"

after all the reading I have done on the spinny box puffer I thinnk im in for a real treat wise by all the problems they have.
I have read they they all come with IP and most of the time ICK. however I've had him now for a week and no signs of the ICK at all. On day one he was eating frozen cube brine and large frozen shrimp. :)

So far he is my favorite fish I've ever had and is stealing my heart more and more with each passing day. This is not a fish he is more like a smart dog. " i guess there is no way to describe there behavier cause they are just so cool"

I'm looking forward to growing old with this puffer hopefully so thats why im joing this site so I can get the best help possible.

I'm new to this site as well (as of today) and also live in Broward (Ft. Laud). I love 3 stripe damsels, gorgeous fish. One day!
For now, I'm setting up my bowfront 46 gal again after moving, and my plan is for 2 green spotted pups. Good luck with your baby spiny boxpuff. :)

AAAAHH!! 46 gallons not enough for two?? Perhaps only as juveniles but not once they start growing past 2 inches or something? :(
I've been reading as much info on GSPs as possible over the past few months. I guess I'm only thinking about their small size as juveniles...I certainly couldn't imagine two 6 inch puffers sharing my 46gal. Oh, man...
But to keep just one GSP in my tank seems like such an empty house...

Trust me, put one in there and personality will fill that tank to the brim, no, it will overflow with personality. There is a lot to be said for understocked puffer tanks. You will see
