Are the nitrates down since you vacuumed the gravel? How bad off was the skimmer?

LOL purple, is this in the wrong thread?

Update is put on hold for right now, it was more involved than they had thought.
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

When the site went down last night the warning I got was something like..."we will be back we have to do water changes, vacuum the gravel and while we are at it we will clean the skimmer..check back in an hour or three"....that is not word for word...but something like that.

Got it-. Well, the water change didn't go well... something about too much bioload.

Why must we overfeed and overstock? I think it is time we tried veggie filters.

Yeah, the upgrades went quick and failed just as quickly. So, board was restored and we are looking at other options right now.

I am not sure, but I think I remember them saying they were getting rid of the blue and going purple, adding glitter and adding a grape scent when you scratch your computer screen. Or maybe that conversation was just in my head?

No, purplecandle, you are correct, that was not just the voices in your head.

I oppose the grape scent. I hate grape. Lets go with a nice bubblegum or cotton candy. That will still go well with the sparkley purple.
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

Do remember that I am allergic to most fragrances - how about just a normal clean tank smell?

It might take a whole series of veggie filters for this site. I do think that we overstock and rather heavily overfeed. That is the hobby standard after all.

With rigorous QT, we could feed a whole hydroponic garden (or my banana bed) with this site's output... I don't think I am ready to harvest salad greens from my fish tanks.
