Good tank deal?

Post by G S P Freak »

My lfs owner offered to sell me a brand-spanking new 75G for $140, or a 120G for $220. The dimensions for the 75G are 48x18x21 and the 120G is 60X18X26.
Is this a really good deal? Im considering getting one or the other fore my red-eared slider. Thanks in advance.

They both sound like a good deal to me. Are you gonna go for the 210g?

Most likely I will go for the 120G. I already have a stand that fits the dimensions perfectly. Height doesn't matter, so I'm just debating whether the extra 12" length is worth an extra $80.

P.S. My RES is 8" long x 6" wide. He's over 20 years old, I figure he put up with me for 2 decades, deserves a decent tank. Hes stuck in a 75L atm =/. Only 13" wide, poor fellah.

I would haggle and ask to have a light or hood or some other kind of accessory thrown in with the deal. ;)

My turtle can't have a light or hood, and I can't think of any extras I may need short of some new fluval sponges lol =P.
