It looks half decent. I took the old tank from the marbled crays and put mr. Betta in there. I didn't scrub the hard water stains off though :/

I had just filled the tank with straight well water. Very cold so I had to double up on the heaters to get the temp up so I can move him over.

It sounds cheesy, but I've found that a background with pictures of plants go a long way when you don't have a really full/finished tank. As long as you don't have any planted tank snobs coming over, it really does the trick!

How can you live with yourself for keeping a betta in such deplorable conditions? Put him in a tiny bowl where he belongs.

You know, if I didn't see the number of posts you already have, I would have called you out as a troll. So I am assuming you are being sarcastic LoL. Without a winky face or anything, the sarcasm doesn't come across very well :p

Really like the tank and the ferns J-P! Makes me miss my betta ='(
