Am I overfeeding? (PICS)

Post by bigpuff »

So I know this site says to feed puffers till they have a "slightly rounded belly", but I just want to confirm exactly what that looks like. I've attached pictures of my two GSP's right after tonight's feeding...is this the right amount, too much, not enough?

LOL, that's a bit more than "slightly". How often are you feeding?
You are getting sleepy... you only hear the sound of my voice... you must do water changes... water changes... water changes... water changes...

Just once a day. That was just from a small portion of shrimp shared between them. When I feed them clams I can't even let them eat the whole thing, have to take it out after they've eaten 1/4th because they get huge.

+1 to PP suggestions as they get bigger it will be easier to control the amount that going in and once they get 3-4"+ you can do every other day feedings.
