I'm downsizing very soon. Selling off all my corals. We're looking to move cross-country, from Chicago to S Carolina.

Will you be able to take ony of your puufers with you??

I know I spent more time making sure I had suitable puffer owners when we moved to Canada than I did selling the house. I had an Estate Agent( Realtor) working to sell the house, but I needed to make sure my fish would be looked after properly...

The cats came with us as did our daughter....

Yes, I will take most of my FW fish with me. I'll be setting up a larger tank for Filbert (15 year old fahaka) & then coming back for him & moving his tank out & then & forth, until they're all out there & upgraded to larger tanks.

Our last move was only a few miles, and it still tool ages. The move before that was about an hour and a half away. Both were massive chores. I do not envy you!

But getting away from this winter would be great. We have another heavy snow in progress ATM.

That part is fine, but I hope far enough south that you will not get the snow loads we've had this season. We've had more Chicago/Milwaukee weather than Maryland normal this year...
