Do puffer fish sleep?

My puffer seems to always be sleeping once he buries in the sand. True?

yep they sleep on the bottom

and sometimes wedged between decorations, or on a favorite leaf, or sticking off something at a bizarre angle that seems impossible.

It can be hard to tell when some fish are asleep or awake. Many puffer do have "sleep" coloration, which helps - it takes a few minutes to get normal daytime color back when they wake up.
