He's beautiful! I used to keep a few tree snakes myself but I'm not very familiar with the larger species. He looks like some sort of boa constrictor to me??

Well, he's a handsome little fella, that's for sure. Snakes really are a misunderstood species, no thanks to all those ridiculous Anacondas, Snakes on Plane, etc, movies that stereotype them as some vicious monster. Pfft, you don't see people making films about zombie kittens or mass-murdering sheep. How's that for fairness?

I really think thier is a spoof film about zombie sheep too...people either hate snakes or they love em. I'm just mesmerized by their eating abilities and how they control every inch of their body

Zombie cat is unexpectedly scarier than imagined, but I still prefer Resident Evil's zombie Dobermans, hehe.

Bet you will find belly dancers really mesmerizing with the way they move too (but don't tell your wife I said that)!  Jokes aside, I understand your fascination very well; the way their gleaming scales ripple from the contraction and dilation of muscles under their skin is indeed mesmerizing. Once, I accidentally startled my tree snake after feeding it a live feeder frog, and it was so alarmed that it promptly regurgitated its meal, and though a bit worse for wear, the frog was still very much alive and quickly hopped off to safety. It was really amazing to see!
