...5 at a time. It's not important how this happened, or that I had 27 at one point... Mammals be mammalian... They live in awesome DIY cages in our bedroom. Hilarious.
BUT SRSLY
We put the ladeez in the tub first, filled it up with warm water until they were swimming, then scrubbed them a little with some elbow grease under the water (no soap, just vigour). Drained the water OMG POOP and hosed them off with the showerhead. Thus:

Then we did the same with the men, but the vid is from filling up the tub. This is 56 seconds of why we have to clean their cage so often... Though, in their defense, it was rather stimulating, I'm sure:

I love rats!!! Some of the smartest animals I have ever owned! I had 17 at one point. My faces are always the hairless dumbo's. I even has a mini patchwork at one point. My last boy died last weekend and I have two old women left...they are about three years old now! They are both dumbo's, one is Siamese. I had an orange and white one at one point that had two different colored eyes.

Awww Srkoe sry you lost your buddy, the eldest of my males died a couple months ago. He's the larger gray male in the boys' video. His name was Abraham because was everyrat's Pops (well, almost). It was so sad, he was such a loyal dude. <3 RIP Abe & your guy.
Rats are awesome pets with very cool personalities. I've never had any except these rather generic "fancy" rats I've got now. But they're so cute, so much variety in color too!
