Canadian shopping online

Post by J-P »

Coming from a rural area I had a very hard time with our LFS who carries just about nothing...
I found a couple links that Canadians might be interested in:
http://www.thehotfish.com <== these guys are in Windsor and will ship fish!
http://www.pnaquaria.com <== check out the classified ads for nicely priced used swag

of course kijiji and ebay are standard as is big al's online but I find them over priced.. especially Big Al's
if you follow me, you avoid stepping in the crap that I just did...

Thanks for posting! Too bad that one site isn't doing FW sales for some reason.
It is absurd to talk of one animal being higher than another. We consider those, when the cerebral structure/intellectual faculties most developed, as highest. A bee doubtless would when the instincts were.

These are all Canadian, too. Pets and Ponds has some great prices! One trick I've discovered is that Big Al's corporate (not franchise) stores will match competitors on line pricing. Not their own online, but others, go figure. I have a corporate Big Al's near me so I've been getting some awesome deals :-)

They are looking at doing monthly special orders. It will be drop-shipped from the breeder / importer directly to you without having to reach them at the shop. They're just ironing out the wrinkles.
