2 F8s Need New Home

Postby JRC3 on Fri Jul 06, 2012 12:02 am

Remember these guys that I took on to foster back in November? viewtopic.php?f=13&t=28727

Well it's time to find two of them new homes. They are 100% healthy and were treated for IPs when I first took them in. They now reside in my F8's 55g and everybody gets along fine. One is a little fatter than the other and no matter what I do I just can't keep him from getting to the food first. I'll try to get some pics but a video might be easier to post later.

I would prefer to give them away locally (Dayton, OH) but will consider shipping once this heatwave is over. I think shipping will be a bit high for priority overnight. The prospective new parents will have to have a fully cycled setup that is larger than the minimum tank size. They can go as a pair or singles.

Let me know if there are any interested takers. :thumb:

*edit*
Oh yeah, they are kept at 1.005 SG and rams-horn snails will be provided to start feeders.

I've lost my darn camera for pics...

These guys are so perfectly healthy and well tempered...Is anybody even interested?

I hate to consider the LFS or craigslist for rehoming...I have the space but want to keep my tank count down.

If there is anybody that lives near me I traded these F8s to the only credible fish store near me. I slowly dropped them close to FW with each WC so I could eventually take them to this shop. So I think they are gonna sell them for like $7 and the F8s are about 2+" and totally healthy...Please go buy them if your close.

I live in a fairly large city but I drive nearly 25 miles to get to this shop and I really like them. http://www.aquaticspecialistsllc.com/

Hopefully, they will give them to someone who really cares.
