Meet my fifth little pufferbuddy..... Obi the Valentini!

Currently swimming around in my 16 gallons nano reef tank 8) He's just over an inch and so adorable! By the time he will reach adult size my brackish tank will have reached marine and he will move over.

I saw one of these in person the Other day at my LFS, their are so friendly and very very pretty, I went the next day and it was gone, must have been a special order. :)

I unfortunally have to tell you guys that after just under a month little cute Obi has passed away. Last week I found him on my kitchen floor all dried up :( Since the tank is partially open at the top due to the hang-in pump system (see pic) I assume he either jumped out or was fished out by one of my cats. It was a very sad moment and I feel a bit guilty that i thought the small opening would not cause any problems.

Even tho i felt guilty I went and bought a new one the same day. The LFS still had another one that was there already when I bought Obi only he was a bit bigger so I choose the smaller one as it would give me more time before he grows out the tank. I have build a little cover to put over the gap, it's not pretty as it is messing up the nice all glass setup but atleast the new puffer will be safe.

Since Obi was short for Obi-Wan Kenobi I have named the new Valentini Obi-To Kenobi hehe.... so still Obi!

I also bought some softcoral & stuff along with Obi to start of my reef

"Say Hi Obi!"...... "Hi TPF!!!!"

Valentini is next on my list. I'm giving up my F8's to have one. He better be worth it.
