Baby bird pics
This is Sid, a baby starling. He's one of my current foster babies.
These are Hodor and Hagrid, baby wood pigeons. Hagrid is sporting a fetching yellow with chickens on it vet wrap scarf, as he has a neck wound.
I'll post some more pics when I've uploaded them.

Re: Baby bird pics
Hubby raised his Peach Lovebird from an egg. They were best friends. It lived to be 18 years old, which is extremely long for this species, I believe.

Re: Baby bird pics
I love ducks, would love a pet duck or a few lol. I once went to a farm with a friend to buy one, the farmer returned with a bag, a bag. Drove home not wanting to scare the "duck" and released it into my garden. Let's just say it wasn't a duck( the farmer was clearly a total idiot) I had a goose! A very naughty goose! It stayed with us for a week or two before fear for our lives made us rehome the evil thing, it hated us. We visited it up until about 5 years ago at the lake where it protects duck eggs from seagulls, it was happy to see us then and would collect its bag of goodies and sometimes share our picnic. There are a few lessons learnt here a) check you are getting what you asked for. B) geese don't make good garden pets. C ) geese scare me. D) I am now too scared to buy ducks lolhadla wrote:This makes me want some ducks they're always so cute!
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

It seemed the "bad" goose turned out to be your friend after all?

Turkeys terrify me, I got chased by a massive one on my first date with my ex. I'm with you on geese, scary bitey things.
