Glad I found this, it's good to know I'm not the only one! I am a huge fan of the comic book, as well as the series, as bumpy as it has been...the storyline HAS been changed around quite a bit for the first leg of the show, but it looks like they are on track to bring it around closer to the comic book storyline. Yaaay! Thank goodness. I can hardly wait for next season.

I really recommend the comics for anyone who loves the show and hasn't read them. Fantastic.

Also, +1 for Adrian's Undead Diary. One of the best zombie reads out there, period. I think they also offer a deal on Amazon for Kindle owners?

Soon... (Oct. 14)

In case you haven't seen it yet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShQz68Zkb3Y

The 2nd song from the trailer is Kari Kimmel - Black by the way: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WMAC5d8C7w8

The prison, Michonne, the govenor... I think this will be much better than the farm.

Oh... and "Welcome to Woodbury".

If I remember correct I read a comic strip special in some magazine where the history of Michonne and her two zombies was briefly explained.

I like the new season a lot.

Surprised to see a topic here about The Walking Dead. Absolutely love this show! Comics are great too but I prefer the show.

Can't wait to see the next episode and get back to whats happening at the prison.

Why did the guy at the end have all those zombie heads in jars?

Are they heads of people/friends he wants to keep alive that turned?

It actually showed the heads in those containers in the comic as well but didn't go into any detail. I'd kinda like if they did elaborate some on that in the show but kinda doubt it. I think its just to show more about how messed up the governor really is honestly, and to get those who haven't read the comics wondering. Not to mention the way he just took out those soldiers, that did not happen in the comics. Its definitely not people he wants to keep alive, I wouldn't see how as the last addition was the soldier they 'rescued' from the crash.

If you've read the comics you'd understand lol. He is a very cruel and violent man and it shows that almost immediately in the comics. There is no way they will be able to show some of the things that occur in the comics involving the governor on tv, though they don't directly follow one another. There are some ways around that I'm sure and some may just be hinted to, for lack of a better description. Also, the comics are much farther ahead than the tv show. I definitely look forward to how this plays out on the show.

You know the first time I saw that episode I could have swore I saw some eyes moving. I guess my eyes were playing tricks on me as I didn't see any movement when I say that episode again. I think after seeing the heads of Michonne's zombies still 'alive' on those tables played a part in me thinking I saw movement in the Governor's collection of heads. That was not something that happened in the comics. Michonne finds the prison before being taken into the Governor's settlement and got rid of her zombies then in the comics.
