What did you do with your tank today

Post by xrayjeeper83 »

So what did you do with your tank today?????

I did my weekly 50% water change a week late lol. While doing my change and checking things out I noticed 5 baby crayfish that I had tossed in for Bloat to eat hanging out in my wet/dry lol. Dont know how long they have been down there but they seemed to be eating the thing the sponge caught. Pulled em out and tossed them back into the tank and Bloat nailed all of em quick lol

Not so much today, but over the weekend I completed the transition from brackish to marine. Just a little hoovering of the gravel today & tinkering with the sump & skimmer.

Took apart my protein skimmer and cleaned it. The inside of a dirty protein skimmer smells exactly like a sewage treatment plant.

Missed mine! I've been out of town for a few days. Back tomorrow. Wonder if the fish even noticed their food being dispensed by Jim, not me. LOL

Um, yesterday I WISH I would've done waterchanges, but I ended up just clean the glass, adjusting the plants, checking out the yeast.
+Plus misting the viv twice a day and adding some creeping fig.

Accidentally made my toby puff today - moved a hollow log decoration in her tank and I didn't know she was in it. She floated out of the top of this thing all puffed up like a little balloon. Then she bit my finger. :?

Exactly what I was thinking. Tobies can bite kinda hard too, btw. Don't let the small mouth fool you.
