Nice looking rock!
Have fun with the aquascaping!
Stacking rock got me slightly frustrated many hours later

Thought I'd join in here.
I stayed busy with the tank for a while last night.
I applied the background, which was quite fun having a full tank setup that has only a few inches between the tank and wall on one side and the back.
Cleaned off salt creep and added water for top-off. Began the preparation for 20gallon of water for a PWC that I'll perform tonight. Tested the water parameters. Cleaned off powerheads and HOB filters.
Oh and attached some of a seaweed sheet to a rock for the starry blenny.
And think thats it.

I spent all day researching fish and looking up reveiws on filters/media and trying to decide what to stock in my tank when I reset it.

Took apart my 30g (moving my work area to the ground floor) and put Patch the F8 and the equipment in a 15g plastic container that is safe for foods and such so it should not leak anything in to the water. Now I have to wait until the 142Gallon aquarium arrives. At first I thought I would make it a reef, but I am gonna put the Patch in instead
I am hoping he will enjoy it. I may get another F8 or 2 though.

I'm cleaning all the tanks today and redecorating the Texas tank. Figured I should post this because I'm feeling lazy today and I need to make sure I get it done

Done! Everyone is drunk off oxygen and gliding about....except the Texas who is spitting sand and making mounds everywhere.

A female green texas cichlid....mean booger, aggressive landscaper! She lets me get away with some things, but usually she will redo what I've done.
She has a log that I can't touch. She likes to make mounds 5 inches deep around the tank. Carries mouth fulls of sand around, spitting it out we're she wants it.
Here she is.
And her blessed log

They have just as much personality as Puffers!
Here's mine.. they are in my homeschooling room and they make the room so "mellow" the way they glide. Very relaxing!
If you are really interested in Oscars or any Cichlids, this forum is really great! Lots of info.
