if my GSP even saw my hands coming in his direction he darted away, i dont know why he was so skittish at that point, he always rubbed against my finger if i put it in the water. water changes though its like he was deathly afraid of my hand. flashbacks of being captured? lol

This is a great thread. Let's see, today I...
Replaced the filter floss in one of the HOB's on the 30g Tanganyikan tank. Moved 2 MTS' all of 6 inches that were hopelessly stranded in the Multi's shell bed...since yesterday.
Did 75% W/C on the 2.5g snail/endler breeder tank, after a 40% on Friday...pondered if something invisible died in there? Phew. Threw a java fern in there.
Finally got the Fahaka to try some bloodworms, yay. She still looked hungry later, so she got a piece of shrimp, too. Pooper-scooped her tank and played peek-a-boo and tickle-through-glass with her for awhile. Tested water, pH: 7.6, Ammonia: 0, Nitrite: 0, Nitrate: 10. Will go ahead and W/C tomorrow. Took some pictures of her being cute.
Played peek-a-boo with the new DP. Squee! Tried to feed him mysis shrimp but he just looked at me like I was stupid and watched them float by. Fed him bloodworms instead. Got a couple of pics of him, being cute.

I just fed my boys. As i was taking away the food and out of the water (done feeding), turg came up and took a bite of the air in attempt to eat more. Surprised the heck out of me. He made a loud teeth smacking noise lol. Very scary.
Kind regards,

Did my weekly 50-60% water change today. I almost bought 2 more red-eyed puffers today. My will power got me out of there! Thank goodness.
Kind regards,

Got some serious plant maintenance to do, pruning, reattaching to rocks etc. And plan some waterchanges at the same time, gonna drop the water level first as I have no-one here to watch the puffer. I don't fancy gettin nipped
It's amazing how easy maintenance is. If done regularly and thoroughly

Dealing with plants in aquariums is so frustrating to me. I can never get them to stay down lol.

I can't think of a worse skimmer than a Prizm.

I've about had enough of this stupid thing. I'm about ready to get a BakPak and see what my 12 gauge will do to the Prizm.

Prizm overflowed again last night. Swung my legs out of bed this morning and - splash! Right into 2 1/2 gallons of saltwater on the floor. Spent all morning cleaning up the huge mess, then slam dunked the Prizm in the garbage can on my way out the door. Wanted to punt the dang thing across the street, but seriously, Michael Jordan himself would've been proud of that dunk in the garbage can.

On the plus side, I'm shopping for a bak pak right now... :)
