Not bustin' on anyone, I just thought this was sort of funny and odd at the same time.
I have a habit of clicking the little yellow arrow to go read the latest unread post on threads I'm interested in.
Lately, it will take you to a completely different thread. How in the world?? (rhetorical question, don't really expect an answer, lol)
Have you noticed this?

Re: Have you noticed this?
Purplecandle noticed something similar. I tried to duplicate it.. but couldn't so can't really relate.
Where is this little yellow arrow?
ohhh they just did a back up ... the links are dead now and some more posts are gone.

Re: Have you noticed this?
I have had all sorts of strange things, but not that one - I do not look forward to seeing it.
J-P - the yellow symbol is just before the thread title on the VNP page. It is another "could not live without" item - it saves a lot of time when you are doing "View new posts" - which is the only way I travel.

ahhh got ya!!
see learn something new everyday!
Typically I just go to view new posts and click on the last page if I have been following it. But yes, that is a neat little feature.

Re: Have you noticed this?
Does the same thing on First Unread Post (the text link, once you're in a thread, found on the first post of each thread).
For example go to the Methylene Blue thread, click on First Unread Post and it takes you to Need your help, please! Which is where the little yellow arrow takes you, too.

It does the same thing to me!
It either takes me to a post in the hospital section or in the brackish puffers section.

Re: Have you noticed this?
Yes, but that is a two-step process for me, whereas just clicking on the yellow icon is one-step - a time saving on my pokey DSL.

Re: Have you noticed this?
I just got to this thread using the "first unread post" icon click... from a post reguarding IP addresses in the mod chat areas.
BTW, it can be ultimately defeated by using the "mark topics read" button - the next time a first unread post icon appears, it has another chance to be correct.

No matter how magnificent your successes or devastating your failures, the worlds' approximately 5 billion impoverished people could not possibly care less.
