Welcome to The PufferPedia - the encyclopedia for all things puffer! Here you will find images and care information for all kinds of puffers from around the world - be they marine, brackish or freshwater.

For each species, you will find a profile, including care information, and a number of pictures. The pictures have been chosen to show the puffers in a range of colorations to help aid with identification.

Not sure what puffer your LFS have? Then try out the search feature! Search by characteristic attributes, e.g. "small, black spots", and see a list of images that match your description.

We are adding to these profiles constantly. In some cases, very little is known about these fish - especially for species which are only rarely imported for the aquatic hobby.
