Re: Im new and I might have a problem
Toss the Cycle & do large daily water changes, dechlorinating with Prime, until you can find the only LIVE cycling bacteria product: Bio-Spira. You can order it from http://www.drsfostersmith.com, if you can't find it locally.

Re: Need help Nitrite rising and Ammonia rising
You really need to contact your water company & conplain about the ammonia in your tap water. Are you using Prime to dechlor? That will help detoxify the ammonia. Keep doing water changes until the test for nitrite is 0. What kind of puffers are they? I don't understand--unless these puffers are...

I highly suggest against using any meds for ich. Please read the FW & SW treating articles beefore using any meds for this. Only in extreme measures should you use meds & only in QT.

Re: Tetraodon Sabahensis
Since they are so closely related to the GSP, I would treat it as such. 40g/puffer, is how all those measurements in the Pufferpedia work out. You can also try a search on them here. There are a few folks keeping them that hang out here. I think Hilly is one of them.

I don't think you'll find anyone who's been around here for a while, that thinks it's a good idea to cycle with fish.

Re: ammonia chart and BW
Hard to tell, since we don't know your SG. Looks like you're going to have to do some more searching of LFS. SeaTest & Instant Ocean hydrometers both start at 1.000. So try calling 1st.
