What SG are you at now? Make sure you aren't upping the salt by larger than .002 increments, as this can kill your good bacteria and cause the tank to mini-cycle. I bought them all online, the places I used were petsmart.com and thatpetplace.com. All together spent about $60 dollars. But got about 20 plants. Some are silk and some are plastic but I was really really happy with both retailers and with the plants themselves.

I have the AquaC Remora on my 55gal. (However mine came with the Rio 800 pump instead). I love it; I've been really happy with the results from day one. It's the only skimmer I've ever used though, but I have no reason to switch
