Re: Hello from sunny Singapore!

Dang I miss S'pore ... Other than physical space you are in an ideal location to keep and get exotic puffers. I really do envy you. Plant upkeep is 1 topic puffer keeping is a different topic. But can and will be, big jobs. Try to keep it as simple as possible, and as easy to maintain as possible. I...

Re: Whats this on my glass? Bacteria, weird algae? Please ad

Ditto the slime mold. Mine was white and was in one of my breeder tanks. If it continues you have a most likely water quality issue. More frequent partials and a good substrate vac weekly will help keep it under control / eradicate it.

Re: Live Rock.

depends on the grain size of the sand you are using. Remember the story of the 3 bears? Same theory applies here. Too coarse and it is no good, too fine it is no good. Marco Rocks seels oolic sand which is nice or you can get "sand blasting" sand from the hardware store and that is also a ...

Re: For RTR: Test to speech reader

our gaming team uses this program to create tutorials. They don't like their own voice or using the PIP feature so they voice over the text to make the "how to" vids.

Re: Don't forget about me!!

Yea we moved also .. only have 2 tanks now. 2X65 gal SW sitting empty and 10+ tanks sitting in the basement. Downsizing sucks and the utility costs are HUGE. Thus, out of the hobby (for now).

Re: breeding food in your F8s home tank

It can be done, but it is not for the faint of heart or the new. 90% of the tank should be considered breeding territory for the species in question 10% for the puffer. Thus, if you have a puffer that requires 30 gallons, you are looking at a tank that is about 300 gals. That may sound daunting, but...
