I suppose knowing any future owners will be able to let you know how they are doing via TPF would make it easier letting the first ones go, if you have become attached to them.

Oh yeah :redface: Just a thought, do you use a UV filter? I think they are a great help to brackish tanks as they kill some of the microalgae thus making our job that little bit easier. You still need to get rid of any algae that are there but once that's done it helps keep everything looking nicer....

I imagine there are ways of assessing relative bitterness without using tastebuds, not sure really, but chemicals or spectrometers and suchlike come to mind ...
