feeding time..
Hey guys so i went to the store today and pick up some fresh food for my F8.. I got him raw shell on shrimp, little back claim, and black mussel.. His favorite was the shrimp. I had to throw the mussel away because it was all mush.. Anyways good dinner??

Here is the Bio Media with no carbon..
The bottom is sponge then 2" of filter floss then the bio media.....

If the bio media is sticking out, you either have too much filter floss or you have the bag of media in too tight of a ball. It should be more like a layer. You only need a one-inch layer of filter floss. Any less might be ineffective, any more can reduce your filter's flow. There is plenty of room...
