If they are going into a Puffer tank try to find the largest ones you can so they don't look like lunch. Most are sold as FW so you should acclimate them before adding to BW.

I have 2 Zebra Nerites and 1 Tiger Nerite in my BW (1.015) GSP tank. He is pretty small still and leaves them alone. They are great cleaners. They get into the nooks and crannies on my mangrove roots and caves and do laps on the glass.

I added the Safestart and snails at the same time. I got 0-0-5 day 1 and .25-0-5 day 2 and now it is 0-0-5 after 1 week so I believe we are cycled. There are many egg sacks on the walls of the tank. How long does it take for hatches and for snails to grow?

I am about to set up a snail breeding tank for feeders but cannot open the link to article on Snail Breeding in the Library. Has that article been removed? I will be adding 25 Ramshorns to get it started. My question is about cycling. Do they need to be added to a cycled tank? Should I just put some...
